Watercolor Magazine

I'm excited to announce that Watercolor Magazine will be featuring me in this year's fall issue. The new issue goes on sale September 18. Keep an eye out for me. :-)

Sorry for the lack of new painting posts. Right now I'm working on another commission, which I'll post as soon as it's finished. In the meantime, here's some scribbles from my Philosophy class.

Art Activated (2)

Art Activated was a blast! Thanks to everyone who came, and a double thanks to everyone who volunteered to model!







I ended up going through 4 pieces of paper. It's interesting to see the progression of the drawings - the 3rd and 4th pieces of paper really show how much looser my hand got as time passed. Here's pictures of all of the drawings from that day.

New Website!

The domain name will probably change eventually, but for now I have a new, second website. I'll still keep this sketchblog up and running, but the website will have more information about my work and it will also have all of my paintings in a gallery (as opposed to jumbled around in archives). It's still under construction, though, so the gallery there isn't yet as complete as the archives of this sketchblog.
